Planning Your Wedding Transport Timeline

A practical hour-by-hour framework for bridal party arrivals, ceremony timings and the journey to your reception.

Transport timing is where wedding schedules most often slip. The remedy is simple: work backwards from the ceremony and add margin at every stage.

We usually arrive at the collection address well before the agreed departure so there is time for photographs with the car before anyone travels. Bridesmaids typically leave first, followed by the bride and her escort, arriving a few minutes after the guests are seated.

After the ceremony, allow time for confetti, congratulations and portraits before the journey to the reception. If the two venues are close together we will often take a slightly longer route so you have a few quiet minutes together.

Send us your draft timings and we will sense-check them against real road conditions in Staffordshire and Cheshire.
