Choosing the Perfect Wedding Car

The wedding car is the one part of the day that appears in almost every set of photographs and yet is often chosen last. It frames the bridal arrival, it carries you between the two most photographed locations of the day, and it sets the tone before a single guest has seen the dress.

Start with the venue. A vintage vehicle such as our 1930s Asquith sits beautifully against stone churches, Georgian halls, barn conversions and the country estates of Staffordshire and Cheshire. Consider the approach: gravel drives, tree-lined avenues and archways all photograph exceptionally well with classic bodywork.

Then consider the dress. Full skirts and long trains need a generous door aperture and a high roofline — precisely why period vehicles remain so popular with brides. Our chauffeur is practised at helping you step out without a crease in sight.
